In 2021, the kennel officially celebrated its 20th anniversary!
What a wonderful reason to tell you about our work.
In 1998, our family welcomed its first Schnauzer, a Standard Schnauzer named Atris Spice. As a teenager, I completed the young handlers’ course with her. Atris became my guide into the world of canine work. We trained in dog sports, and I studied at a young handlers’ school. We went on to have a wonderful show career and won our first Champion title.
In 2008, I bought my first black Miniature Schnauzer, Desiree Eldzh Hope (Zara), from breeder Olena Belyaeva at the Eldzh Hope kennel. Zara became a Multi-Champion and International Champion, and won breed rings in countries across Europe many times.
I was incredibly lucky: Zara was a charismatic, beautiful example of the breed. Thanks to her, I fell head over heels in love with the breed and made a conscious decision to become a breeder. Even today, several generations at our kennel are descendants of Desiree Eldzh Hope.
Olena Belyaeva later ended her work as a breeder. I remain grateful for everything she taught me about the breed and for her appreciation of my beloved Zara. I decided to carry the kennel forward through the next generations. That is how I officially became a breeder and the owner of Eldzh Hope.
To plan for the future and do my work to the highest standard, I decided to study Miniature Schnauzers in Europe and form my own view of the breed. This helped me choose a direction for the kennel.
Over several years, I travelled with my Schnauzers to around 20 countries in Europe, the Baltics, and Scandinavia. We attended major shows, including the European and World Championships. We won and placed at events such as the World Championship, Finnish Winner, Amsterdam Winner, and Luxembourg Winner. These results reflect the quality and competitiveness of our dogs.
That unique experience let me see some of the finest representatives of the breed. I decided that I want our kennel to breed classic Miniature Schnauzers of the European type.

I carefully researched the pedigrees of outstanding breed lines and influential ancestors who helped shape the breed. That is when I became determined to bring in new breeding dogs and expand the kennel’s gene pool.
Over the years, I have built relationships with outstanding breeders around the world. I am grateful to the kennels who entrusted their dogs to me, including Black Galaxy (Italy), vd Black Diamond (Germany), Dog Otho’s (Argentina), Heathkeeper’s (Finland), Victorious Star (Ukraine), and Gently Born.
This work has brought together an impressive range of bloodlines in our dogs’ pedigrees. You can learn more about them on our dogs’ pages. I also take great care to preserve the line of the legendary dogs from the v.d. Haventad kennel in Belgium.
Thanks to years of careful work, I am proud that our dogs embody the qualities of a true classic Miniature Schnauzer:
— a harsh black coat;
— medium size;
— correct Schnauzer anatomy;
— a beautiful, expressive head.
A sound temperament and the lively character typical of the Schnauzer come first. I have always loved working dogs, so I pay close attention to the character of our Miniature Schnauzers.

The Miniature Schnauzer was developed around the idea of “a big dog in a small body.” It is important to preserve the breed as a small working dog and a full-fledged sporting and family companion, with a keen intellect and a willingness to learn.
Our kennel is my passion and calling
Ours is a family kennel. We do not keep our dogs in kennels or runs; they live with us in our home. My whole family shares my passion. They enjoy spending time with our dogs and helping raise the puppies.
I combine running the kennel with my main career, so my family’s help is invaluable.
Breeding Miniature Schnauzers is a much-loved hobby. We continually invest our time, money, and care in the kennel, and it has become a huge part of our lives.
Preserve and improve — a new chapter
In 2020, we began a cooperative breeding program to preserve the gene pool. I cannot keep every promising dog for breeding at home: each one needs care and individual attention. I am happy to entrust promising puppies to committed owners so that we can develop the kennel together. This is an important new chapter in our lives, and I have high hopes for these owners. Please get in touch if this interests you.
Quality over quantity — our guiding principle
Every litter is carefully planned several generations ahead, which makes each one special. I always strive to improve, and believe each generation can be better than the last through a thorough study of pedigrees and the right pairing of parents.

Quality over quantity — our guiding principle
That is why every litter is planned with great care, several generations ahead. Each one is special. I always try to improve, and believe every generation can be better than the last through careful study of pedigrees and the right pairing of parents.
My goal is to breed healthy Miniature Schnauzers with the breed’s characteristic zest for life. Many puppies born at Eldzh Hope have all the qualities needed to become champions. But a puppy’s show career depends on whether its owner wants to raise a future Champion and actively take part in shows. A show career is not my priority when choosing a future owner. Above all, I want every one of our dogs to live in a safe, loving family as a full-fledged companion.
Eldzh Hope Miniature Schnauzers live in more than 20 countries across Europe, Scandinavia, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Their owners include families who chose their dog from our kennel, as well as respected breeders and FCI breed experts in Europe, Scandinavia, and Great Britain.
I am grateful for the recognition our dogs and breeding have received. Our dogs have earned International Champion and national Champion titles in the countries where they live, as well as ISPU Champion titles from the International Schnauzer-Pinscher Union.
These achievements would not have been possible without the families of Eldzh Hope graduates in the United Kingdom, Norway, Iceland, France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Poland, and Hungary.
I would especially like to celebrate the success of Multi-Champion Versailles Eldzh Hope, who lives at Italy’s leading Black Galaxy kennel. In 2021, he won several prestigious titles: European Champion, ISPU Championship Winner, and winner of the anniversary specialty show marking 125 years of the Pinscher-Schnauzer-Klub 1895 in Germany.
Many of our graduates also live in Ukraine, and I am happy to stay in touch with their families. Most important to me is that every owner has chosen a Miniature Schnauzer thoughtfully. In their homes, our dogs are loved, well cared for, well trained, and happy companions.
Of course, 2022 was our toughest test of endurance and will to live. I am deeply grateful to the international breeder community and to our owners in Ukraine for their support. We are staying at home in Kyiv.
The younger generation of Eldzh Hope dogs are real beauties and my pride, giving me great hope for the kennel’s future. I am proud of what we have achieved, and hope our Miniature Schnauzers will win many more remarkable victories.
A wonderful community of Eldzh Hope families is taking shape — a new chapter in the kennel’s development. Keep it up! We look to the future with hope.
I am always open to meeting and working together.
Yours sincerely, Victoria Borysova.
